‘Movebutler’ estate agency platform being developed by iamproperty

An online platform designed to speed up and improve the experience for estate agents and vendors when completing private treaty sales is being developed by iamproperty.

The property company’s new platform, known as ‘movebutler’ is expected to launch in early 2021. It will initially be exclusive to iamproperty’s partner agents before being made available to other agents later.

It is hoped that agents will see their admin time decrease significantly whilst allowing them to increase their revenue opportunities.

Ben Ridgway, group managing director of iamproperty, said: “It’s no secret that the private treaty process is slow and fragmented.

“We work with thousands of estate agents and already provide a platform that offers a fast, secure and compliant solution.

“The launch of movebutler will tackle the issues that agents tell us first-hand that they are dealing with, including increasingly high levels of administrative burden, meaning they don’t always have time to delight their customers and maximise their own revenue-generating opportunities.

“For consumers, unnecessary delays which are more often than not out of the hands of Agents can quickly turn the experience negative, creating a lack of trust and tainting the whole process.”

The new platform will facilitate end-to-end transactions whilst acting as a communication point for all parties involved at each stage. Legal and mortgage services will also be available if required.
